Old School v2.0 |
I created "Old School" as a tribute to the creator of the Moog Synthesizer, Robert Moog, who just passed. After watching a few documentaries and reading a couple books about him, I realized what a huge impact he has made on todays electronic music, and I wanted to create something as he had done in the past. After reading a book on DSP (Digital Signal Processing), I began to understand how to manipulate sound waves to get them to sound crazy. This is when "Old School" was born. "Old School" uses 3 oscillators that can be detuned from 0% to 100% letting the user create a vast amount of different sounds. This synth also comes armed with a low pass filter and a master compressor. The limits of this synth are endless. Total Destruction
As you can probably tell by the name, Total Destruction is not like your ordinary VST Synths. This synth has Detuned Oscillators, Volume ADSR, Sample Rate ADSR, as well as a simple Low Pass Filter. You will just have to try it to understand it capability. |
