Hi Everyone,
This is going to be a short and sweet post here. I have a video capture device that is pretty old now, it is an EasyCAP S Video/Component video capture device. It looks like the picture below:

I recently tried to install it on my Windows 11 Studio PC to capture some old video equipment. However, to cut a long story short, I couldn’t find the driver for it. So, I embarked on a quest to find the right driver while avoiding viruses and malware. After an extensive search, I finally located the exact driver I needed. To benefit the community, I’ve decided to upload and host it here for future reference.
Installation instructions:
- Download and extract the drivers from here. UTV007_Drivers.zip
- Plug in the device and open Device Manager.
- Locate “usbtv007” in the Device Manager.
- Right-click on “usbtv007” and select “Update driver.”
- Choose “Browse my computer for drivers” and navigate to the extracted files. Most likely, you will want to install the Windows 7 Drivers for 64-bit operating systems.
- You’re done! Enjoy using your capture device, now recognized as “OEM Device.”
Thanks, I have kept one of these devices for the day when I can get some time to transfer my old videos. I hope it works…
My laptop is a DELL Latitude E7450 with Windows 10 OS, 64-bit.
Followed your instructions to install the 64-bit driver for windows 7 (3 attempts) but always received the following message:
“Windows was unable to install your usbtv007 driver”.
Is there a specific driver version for Windows 10?
Would donate to your site if your reply is useful.
Thanks, JPW
Only thing that helped me out of like a million sites thanks!
Since no one else has said it: thank you so much for posting this. I’ve gone down the rabbit hole of trying to find the driver for this thing a couple of times and your site took the search down to a simple search.
Btw, TNA Pinball rules. Our local barcade got a table and it’s one of the best I’ve played in years.
Thank you!!
